We all know there are tons of great resources out there to help teach kids their ABC’s and 123′s, but what about teaching kids about emotional health and how to become a good person? The Mother Company has taken on that challenge and created a line of books, DVDs and dolls aimed at helping preschoolers learn “emotional literacy”.

We have a copy of the Ruby’s Studio “The Feelings Show” DVD and my 2 1/2 year old son totally loves. And in all honesty, I probably love it more than he does. I want to live in Ruby’s Studio! You will love all the bright colors and the gorgeous way the show is shot. The ideas are presented in an easy way that is easy to understand and promotes further conversation about feelings.
“Adorable host, Ruby, guides children on a magical journey of learning through art projects, hilarious interviews with real kids, original music, old-school animated sequences and the Garden Theater puppet show-within-a-show.”
We don’t watch a lot of tv in our household, but Ruby’s Studio is one show that I feel comfortable letting my son watch and learn from. I cannot wait until The Mother Company releases more episodes!
